During the third phase of the project, the consortium has generated the detailed design of the overall MOSAR system, and of the supporting testing facilities (Mechanical Ground Support Equipment and Electrical Ground Support Equipment).
From the preliminary design made available at the preliminary design review (PDR), the adaptations identified for previous building blocks are being fully detailed, and the design of novel components of MOSAR (Walking Manipulator, modular satellites, software suite) is also laid out in its detailed entirety.
The global coherence of the MOSAR design is being verified during a second concurrent engineering design meeting. Besides, an updated development and integration plan will be worked out, and the demonstration test procedures will be produced in detail.
